Fresh Produce is Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!
Soooooooooooo excited to finally go grocery shopping and have a good produce selection...I bought so many fresh items that just haven't been looking so good throughout the winter months. I also bought more dried lentils! I had curried lentils recently, and decided to start making my own. They are delicious! I bought spring mix, fresh baby spinach, romaine, fresh basil, tomatoes, green onions, snap peas, snow peas, broccoli, squash, asparagus, strawberries, bananas, avocados, limes, grapefruit, fennel, mushrooms, & carrots. YUM! I posted a link for curried lentils to my FB page. Also, I improvised on "vanilla" greek yogurt this time around. A 6-oz cup of vanilla Chobani has 13 grams of sugar. A 6-oz cup of plain Chobani has 7. So, I bought a large carton of the plain, then added 3/4 tsp. of vanilla extract and a packet of Truvia. Perfect. I think next time I'll use just a half packet.
I also got to use my new reusable bags. They are just 2 that fit neatly inside the cart. I LOVED them as much as I thought I would. Gaze upon their awesomeness
HERE and see where to buy.
